- It is necessary to describe what are the technical components of the proposed solution, what's the starting point, so that the feasability of the proposed solution can be assessed.

- To me, the proposed research builds on the concepts of metamodeling, ontologies, model weaving, (coupled)-evolution. Each of such concepts have foundations over the last decades that are not properly identified and considered in the paper. The proposed framework as shown in Fig. 2 seems to start from scratch discarding what already exists.
- What's new about approaches that already exists in such research fields?
- An explicit research plan is also missing
- [[Comments]]
- The proposed research aims at developing a framework to support the development and management of evolving data specifications consisting of structural models mapped with their semantic definitions.
- My main concerns about the presented research are related to the following shortcomings:
- The focus of the research should be more focused, otherwise, the work is too generic and vague, and it is unclear what the novelty is compared with existing approaches.
- It is necessary to describe the technical components of the proposed solution and the starting point so that the feasibility of the proposed solution can be assessed.

- NOTES
- Each submission will be reviewed and evaluated in terms of the following quality criteria:
* Value: the problem is worth exploring, ideally inspired by real-world use;
* Impact: the potential for disruption of current practice and/or research;
* Originality: new insights or ideas/visions (alongside demonstrating a good understanding of the relevant literature);
* Rationale: soundness of the justification, reasoning, and argumentation;
* Research plan: realism, soundness, and concreteness of the plan for completing the doctoral research, including the evaluation to be performed, coverage of risks and ethics;
* Quality: overall paper quality.
The timelines for the Doctoral Symposium review process are as follows.
* August 14th: All reviews in (please take note of this deadline; the schedule is very tight)
* August 15th - 17th: Discussion period
* August 18th: Notification to authors
