	- The paper presents an approach to developing software systems based on micro-service architectures. The proposed development model underpins the overall approach and consists of defined tasks aiming at identifying the domains of interest (which will be covered by corresponding micro-services) and the provided functionalities for each of them. A case study has been presented to show the different steps of the proposed model while developing an explanatory online marketplace platform.
	- The paper is overall in the scope of the journal. However, several issues must be solved to have the paper in the proper shape to be accepted. In particular, my main concerns about the paper are related to the following issues:
		- The paper is not well structured and, consequently, is not easy to read.
		- The authors have to improve the presentation of both the addressed problems and the proposed solutions.
		- Even though the related work section is preparatory to identifying the challenges affecting existing low-code development platforms, the mentioned LCDPs are not considered later in the paper and are not considered for comparison with the proposed platform.
		- The proposed development model is introduced and described at a high level of abstraction, and it is missing technical details to grasp the strengths and limitations of the proposed approach.
		- The architecture of the mentioned low-code platform needs to be more detailed. The authors mention some technologies used to develop it, but no technical details are given.
		- Concerning the experiments, the authors should better describe the experience of the people involved in the study. Threats to validity have yet to be discussed by reducing the overall quality of the presented experiment.
		- The authors claim that the proposed approach addresses three out of the seven challenges presented in Table 2. However, the paper does not present the technical details that are needed to assess such a statement.
	- To summarize, the paper requires a relevant revision to make it convincing, solid and ready for acceptance.
