- The proposed issue is about a relevant and indeed interesting topic. The proponents are experienced and well-known in the Software Engineering community. The goal of the issue is clear, well presented and elaborated. My main concern is about the following statement:
- We plan to include a balanced selection of submitted articles that cover different aspects of GAIforSE that are relevant to practitioners.
- Even though I agree with the aim, it is not clear how proponents will achieve this. For instance, they should try to solicit submissions by directly inviting potential authors so that they can have some control on the coverage of the different topics of interest.
- I would suggest to include in the list of topics also "recommender systems in software engineering"
- It is not clear what proponents mean with "We will also publish special papers at software engineering and AI conferences". Despite the excellent contancts they have, I would consider this operation as an attempt and not propose it as something sure. |
