- [[Highlights]]
	- ((64dcddda-22ce-4091-b775-0261ed1ea9ed))
		- What does it mean? What are the difference with the SQL world in terms of AI needs?
	-
- [[Comments]]
	- The author proposes adopting AI techniques to support different NoSQL database development and analysis phases. The author aims to support NoSQL databases' conceptual, logical, and physical modeling phases and enable advanced queries and quality assessment phases by exploiting AI-based assistance.
	- Overall the proposed research is about an interesting and relevant topic. My main concerns about the proposed study are related to the following aspects:
		- The originality of the work is not properly presented. I understand the author aims to introduce the adoption of AI for NoSQL database modeling and analysis. However, the actual challenges the author addresses need to be clarified. For instance, what are the specificities of the considered problems that characterize the envisioned solutions and make them NoSQL-specific and not usable in other database paradigms (e.g., SQL databases)?
		- The author should consider as a possible baseline what has been done in the context of the Typhon EU project, which shares many challenges that are of interest to this paper, even though the AI focus was only marginally considered in that project.
		- The research plan is not properly given. Even though the work is organized around precise research questions, the timeline that the author plans to follow is not explicitely given.

- NOTES
	- Each submission will be reviewed and evaluated in terms of the following quality criteria:
	  * Value: the problem is worth exploring, ideally inspired by real-world use;
	  * Impact: the potential for disruption of current practice and/or research;
	  * Originality: new insights or ideas/visions (alongside demonstrating a good understanding of the relevant literature);
	  * Rationale: soundness of the justification, reasoning, and argumentation;
	  * Research plan: realism, soundness, and concreteness of the plan for completing the doctoral research, including the evaluation to be performed, coverage of risks and ethics;
	  * Quality: overall paper quality.

	  The timelines for the Doctoral Symposium review process are as follows.
	  * August 14th: All reviews in (please take note of this deadline; the schedule is very tight)
	  * August 15th - 17th: Discussion period
	  * August 18th: Notification to authors
